Thank you for a successful End-of-2012 Fund Drive!

Happy New Year! We hope that you found some down-time with family and friends over the holidays, and that you are relaxed and ready for 2013!

We had a very successful fundraising effort in December. We more than met Patagonia's $10,000 challenge grant to SOS. With generous help from many supporters, we raised $14,907! We are deeply appreciative.

A huge thanks to Patagonia and to you! Our success really does depend on the support of people like you - your emails and phone calls to decision-makers, attendance at meetings, participation at events, and of course your donations as well. Thank you!

Now for the raffle winners:

GRAND PRIZE WINNER: Julie Hansen of California won the hand-etched salmon vase donated by artist and scientific illustrator Nancy Arthur-McGehee.

Congratulations to our winners, and thanks to all our friends and whatever form your support takes. We look forward to continuing our work together in 2013 to secure additional protections for wild Columbia and Snake River salmon and steelhead and to ensure that the stakeholder engagement that the Obama Administration initiated late last year stays on schedule and becomes a meaningful way for the people and interests with a stake in the Columbia Basin and its salmon and waters to craft effective, long-term solutions that restore salmon and steelhead, create jobs, and invest in our communities.
