Run Wild for Salmon

We’re casting a line out for folks interested in participating in this year’s Portland Marathon and fundraising for Save Our Wild Salmon.

When: Sunday, October 7, 2012 -- Where: Portland, Oregon

The Portland Marathon is open to ALL ages and skill levels. You can run or walk in either the full or half-marathons or the Handcycle & Wheelchair Event.

Our first official runner and fundraiser is Steven Hawley, environmental journalist and author of Recovering a Lost River: Removing dams, Rewilding salmon, Revitalizing communities.

Please consider joining Steven for this fantastic opportunity to get some great exercise, work your “ask” muscles, and support our efforts to restore wild salmon and steelhead.
