Dustin Aherin is a long-time resident of Lewiston, Idaho, where he currently serves as president of the community-based organization Citizens for Progress. Citizens for Progress focuses on ensuring Lewiston's economic well-being and quality of life by advocating for common-sense, forward-looking planning for the city's downtown riverfront and adjacent areas.

Dave Bitts is the president of the Pacific Coast Federation of Fishermen's Associations (PCFFA), the West Coast's largest and most active trade association of commercial fishermen. Dave is a veteran salmon troller and commercial fisherman and fishes from his boat — F/V Elmarue, out of the port at Eureka, Calif.

Greg Stahl is the assistant policy director for Idaho Rivers United in Boise, Idaho. Prior to his arrival at IRU in November 2008, he spent 10 years as a reporter and assistant editor at the Idaho Mountain Express newspaper in Ketchum, Idaho, where he wrote about Idaho's abundant rivers, public lands and colorful personalities. A 2005-2006 recipient of the Ted Scripps Fellowship in Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado at Boulder, Greg is well-versed in water, public lands and natural resources policy. Greg is an avid whitewater kayaker, alpine and telemark skier, rock climber and creative writer.

Hannah Stauts (at the age of 26) is the youngest mayor in Idaho state history, and at the time of her election as the mayor of the small rugged mountain town of Stanley, Idaho, in 2005, was the youngest female mayor in U.S. history. Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Stauts' introduction to public service began at the age of 16, when she was appointed by the Boise mayor as a Youth Commissioner to the City's Arts Commission.

Rick Ege, Jr. is the Executive Director of the New Jersey State Council of Trout Unlimited. More than 3, 800 Trout Unlimited members reside in New Jersey, spanning all thirteen Congressional districts. Rick is also one of the organizers of the New Jersey Environmental Congress, a major yearly gathering of thousands of community leaders and concerned environmental advocates designed to educate one another on various conservation projects throughout the state.  

Jeff Hickman is the Northwest regional hunter and angler organizer for the Sierra Club, based in Portland, Ore. Born and raised near Mt. Hood in Oregon, Hickman has long fished for steelhead in the Northwest’s signature rivers and streams. He is a renowned fly fishing guide and helps people from across the country chase Oregon’s legendary steelhead.
