Patagonia Gifts 20 Grand for SOS’ 20th

patagonia.mtn.logoPatagonia has hit it out of the park by announcing a gift of $20,000 in recognition of our 20th Anniversary uniting people for salmon, rivers, and jobs.

This generosity puts our fundrasing total at $48,445. Only $1,555 left to go to reach our goal. Help us cross the finish line with a donation today.

For 14 years, Patagonia, its stores and its people have supported our work to save wild salmon and steelhead that western people and watersheds depend on - with mobilization, publicity, creative design, product donations, event sponsorship, training, contact with three administrations, seven Congresses, and seven governors, linking us into their own conservation initiatives, championing us to fellow businesses.  And funding, usually at the times we most needed it.

YVON.chouinardSays Yvon Chouinard, Founder of Patagonia, "Save Our wild Salmon is leading one of America's most important citizen initiatives, to restore the lower Snake River and its wild salmon by removing four outdated dams.  Patagonia and I are proud to be partners in their work."  Patagonia was one of the nearly 1,200 signers on the “Salmon Mean Business” letter sent to President Obama last August.

Patagonia recently posted a blog at The Cleanest Line from our executive director Pat Ford thanking them for their many years of support. Read it over on the Cleanest Line.

Inspired by Patagonia’s gift? Help get us reach our $50,000 goal.
We’re so close! You can get us there. Please donate to Save Our Wild Salmon and you'll be entered to win some great prizes.

THANK YOU PATAGONIA!

Save Our wild Salmon is a diverse, nationwide coalition working together to restore wild salmon and steelhead to the rivers, streams and marine waters of the Pacific Northwest for the benefit of our region's ecology, economy and culture.
